1 July 10:53

“Ukrposhta has updated the rules for cash on delivery payments for individuals, introducing new limits on cash transactions in branches. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the company’s press service.

The new rules came into force today, on July 1, 2025, but most customers will not feel the changes, the company assures. Those affected by the innovations will have time to adapt.

New limits for cash on delivery in branches

Starting July 1, new limits will be set for individuals who receive cash on delivery at Ukrposhta branches:

  • The maximum amount of payments during one calendar month is UAH 100,000
  • The maximum number of payments during one calendar month is 10 transactions.

These restrictions are aimed at improving security, reducing the risk of fraud and bringing operations in line with the current legislation.

Limits for cash on delivery payments to a bank card remain unchanged

For customers receiving funds to a bank card, the current limits remain unchanged:

  • Up to UAH 29,999 per day
  • Up to 50 transactions per day
  • Up to UAH 250,000 per month
  • Up to 500 transactions per month

These limits are sufficient for any individual who is not engaged in entrepreneurial activity.

Legal tools for entrepreneurs

Ukrposhta emphasizes that if you sell goods on a regular basis or plan to do so, you should register as a sole proprietor or choose another official form of business.

This opens up access to professional financial instruments and removes any restrictions on the amount of cash on delivery.
