UKRSIBBANK allocated UAH 1.5 million for the restoration of the Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group has allocated UAH 1.5 million to the charity fund “Your support”. The funds will be used to restore and repair the damage to the Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The hospital was damaged by a Russian missile attack in July this year.

In total, over the two years of the full-scale war, the bank has allocated UAH 108.5 million to support the community. These funds were allocated for the development of healthcare and rehabilitation of Ukrainians, education, support for orphans, young people with disabilities, entrepreneurship, adaptation of defenders and their families, and the restoration and reconstruction of the country.

“In July, during the massive shelling of the country, the Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, which saved the lives of young Ukrainians with heart defects, was damaged along with Okhmatdyt. As an international bank, we do not stand aside but support various charitable initiatives. That is why we joined the restoration of the Centre. Let’s remember that together we are stronger,” said Yanina Olkhovska, Director of Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Engagement at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.

BNP Paribas Group, the bank’s main shareholder, also supports Ukrainian society. The Group has provided €19 million in financial assistance through NGOs and international organisations.
