“Ukrzaliznytsia warned of changes in the movement of a number of international trains

“Ukrzaliznytsia has warned passengers about temporary changes in the movement of some trains starting August 25. The reason is repair work at one of the Hungarian stations. This is stated on the company’s Telegram page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
They assured that the changes are temporary.
Thus, the Hungarian railroad will carry out large-scale repair work at the Budapest-Keleti station. From August 25 to September 20, stops and terminal stations for some international trains will be changed.
Train #9/10 “Kyiv – Budapest – Kyiv” will arrive and depart from the station “Budapest – Nyugati” instead of “Keleti”.
Train No. 143/146 “Chop – Vienna – Chop” (non-stop cars “Kyiv – Vienna – Kyiv”) will stop only at the station “Budapest – Kölenfeld”. The stop at Kelet will be canceled.
The company noted that Budapest Nyugati and Budapest Kölenfeld are convenient central stations with access to the subway, trams and buses. In particular:
- “Budapest – Nyugati – M3 metro line;
- “Budapest – Kölenfeld – M4 metro line.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrzaliznytsia has appointed additional trains on the Lviv-Vorokhta route. The reason is the high demand for this route in the summer.
