Ukrzaliznytsia appoints 16 additional trains for Christmas and New Year holidays: list of routes

Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled 16 additional trains for the Christmas and New Year holidays. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The priority is traditionally given to the Carpathian direction to provide recreation and rehabilitation for the Ukrainian military and families with children. In January, some of these routes will also be covered by the 3000 km across Ukraine program.

Convenient connections to the Carpathians
The train 291 Kyiv – Lviv deserves special attention – it has the most convenient connection (35 minutes) with the flight 157/158 Lviv – Chop, which passes through Slavsko, Volovets, Svaliava and Mukachevo.
A convenient connection to the Carpathians is also offered by train #289 Kyiv – Lviv (arriving at 07:40), from which at 10:51 you can continue your journey on the modern diesel train Lviv – Vorokhta via Yaremche and Bukovel.
Additional high-speed trains
For passengers from Volyn and Slobozhanshchyna, additional high-speed trains are available:
- no. 755/756 Kyiv – Lutsk
- no. 720/719 Kyiv – Kharkiv.
Trailer cars from Prydniprovia
In addition, trailing cars from Prydniprovia in the western direction were added to the train No. 032/031 Zaporizhzhia-Premyshl on the Dnipro-Lviv route.
This will increase the number of seats during the peak dates of the holiday season.

UZ reminds about the auto-buy function in the Ukrzaliznytsia app – the service automatically monitors the availability of seats and helps to purchase a ticket as soon as it becomes available.
Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to plan their trips in advance and follow the updates on official channels, as the list of flights and running dates may be updated.
