Ukrzaliznytsia has canceled a number of trains in two regions: list of services

Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the temporary cancellation and rerouting of a number of commuter trains in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The restrictions will take effect on March 17 due to the complex security situation. This was reported by the national carrier’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Which trains are canceled starting March 17
According to the company, the following commuter trains will not run starting Monday:
- No. 6479 Myrova — Marganets
- No. 6492/6491 Marganets — Zaporizhzhia-1
- No. 6494/6493 Zaporizhzhia-1 — Marganets
- No. 6076 Marganets — Zaporizhzhia-2
- No. 6075 Zaporizhzhia-2 — Marganets
- No. 6498/6497 Marganets — Zaporizhzhia-1
- No. 6451/6452, No. 6455/6456 Kryvyi Rih-Main — Ingulets
- No. 6453/6454, No. 6457/6458 Ingulets — Kryvyi Rih-Main
- No. 6537 Dnipro-Main — Kryvyi Rih-Main
- No. 6412 Kryvyi Rih-Main — Apostolove
- No. 6413 Apostolove — Kryvyi Rih-Main
- No. 6471, No. 6473 Nikopol — Kryvyi Rih
- No. 6472, No. 6474 Kryvyi Rih — Nikopol.
Which routes will change
The routes of some commuter trains have also been changed.
To Loshkarivka Station:
- No. 6405 Dnipro-Lotsmanska — Loshkarivka (instead of the route to Apostolove)
- No. 6408 Loshkarivka — Dnipro-Lotsmanska
- No. 6409 Dnipro-Lotsmanska — Loshkarivka.
To Kryvyi Rih Station:
- No. 6485 will run Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi — Tymkove (instead of Nikopol — Tymkove)
- No. 6476 Tymkove — Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi (instead of Tymkove — Nikopol).
What changes are planned starting March 18
In addition, starting March 18:
- Train No. 6032 Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi — Dnipro-Holovnyi will be canceled
- the route of train No. 6402 Loshkarivka — Dnipro-Lotsmanska will be changed (instead of the Apostolove — Dnipro-Lotsmanska route).
Why are trains being canceled
The main reason for the restrictions is the security situation in the region, linked to shelling and the threat of new attacks.
Ukrzaliznytsia urged passengers to take these changes into account when planning their trips and to check the current schedule.
What led to the changes
As a reminder, Russian troops previously attacked civilian infrastructure and railway logistics facilities. Specifically, on March 14, a drone struck a passenger train on the Smorodine–Vorozhba route, damaging the locomotive.
