Ukrzaliznytsia launches double-decker Intercity from Kyiv to Lviv: train schedule

Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a new high-speed train between Kyiv and Lviv. It will run several times a week. This was reported by the company’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Thetrain will run from Kyiv to Lviv on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (the first flight is on 9 June), and from Lviv to Kyiv on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays (the first flight is on 10 June).

“For a more convenient journey, the train will stop at Pidzamche station in Lviv,”

– the statement said.

The Škoda CityElefant double-decker electric train will depart from Kyiv at 14:45. It will stop in Korosten at 16:26-16:27, in Pidzamche at 20:42-20:44, and arrive in Lviv at 20:56.

The train will depart from Lviv at 08:10. Stop in Pidzamche – 08:21-08:23, in Korosten – 12:31-12:32, arrival in Kyiv – 14:10.

Tickets can be purchased in the UZ app and on the website – they are already available and cost from UAH 503 (second-class carriage).
