“Ukrzaliznytsia launches a new Kyiv-Bucharest train

“Ukrzaliznytsia will launch a daily service between Ukraine and Romania starting October 10, 2025.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development on Telegram.
The route will be as follows: Kyiv – Vinnytsia – Zhmerynka – Mohyliv-Podilskyi – Velchynets – Ungheni – Iasi – Bucharest.

- Departure from Kyiv: 06:30, arrival in Bucharest: 06:47 the next day.
- In the opposite direction – from Bucharest at 19:10, to Kyiv at 19:41 the next day.
The train will arrive at Bucharest Central Station – Gara de Nord. High-speed trains to the airport run regularly from this station.
The cost of a ticket in a compartment car is approximately UAH 3,800. Tickets are already available in the app or on the Ukrzaliznytsia website .
