Ukrzaliznytsia changes routes on February 24: which trains will not run

Due to the escalation of the security situation in the frontline and border regions, Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing temporary restrictions and adjusting the routes of a number of trains on February 24. Some of the flights have been replaced by bus transfers, and the timetables have been changed. This was reported by the company, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Kherson region: travel with safety in mind
In the Kherson region, monitoring groups are working in an enhanced mode. Train traffic is being organized with the current security situation in mind.
Passengers are advised to:
- to follow the notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia app;
- pay attention to announcements at stations and on trains;
- if necessary, wait in shelters during air raid alerts.
Sumy and Chernihiv regions: reduced routes
In Sumy and Chernihiv regions:
- regional trains are temporarily running to/from Konotop;
- adapted suburban service schedules are in effect on the Nizhyn route.
Passengers are advised to check departure times before traveling.
Kharkiv and Donetsk regions: some flights have been replaced by buses
Transportation from Lozova to Kramatorsk is provided by buses.
At the same time:
- train No. 101/102 Barvinkove — Kherson is guaranteed to wait for a transfer from Kramatorsk;
- regional express trains in the Izyum direction are running according to schedule.
Zaporizhzhia direction: restrictions to/from Dnipro-Holovnyi station
Due to the security situation, travel to/from Dnipro-Holovnyi station is temporarily restricted for the following trains:
- No. 86/85 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv
- No. 128/127 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv
- No. 6 Yasinya — Zaporizhzhia
- No. 40/39 Solotvyno — Zaporizhzhia — Solotvyno
Currently, transportation between Dnipro and Zaporizhia is mainly provided by bus transfers.
What passengers need to know
Ukrzaliznytsia asks passengers to
- follow the instructions of train crews and station staff;
- enable push notifications in the app;
- check the status of your flight before departure.
The company emphasizes that all changes are related exclusively to safety considerations.
