Anna Pavlik, an employee of Havas Media Ukraine, is killed in a rocket attack on Kyiv

The RAZOM GROUP team has announced the tragic death of Anna Pavlik, a colleague and friend, Middle Researcher at Havas Media Ukraine. She was killed along with her husband during a nighttime rocket attack on Kyiv on June 23, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“Today is a terrible and painful day for our entire team,” the company said in a statement.

Anna Pavlik is remembered as a talented specialist, a sincere, bright person who was sincerely loved and appreciated by the team.

“Her death is an indescribable pain and shock for everyone who knew her,” RAZOM GROUP said.

The company’s team expressed its deepest condolences to the family, friends and relatives of the victims.


At night, the capital of Ukraine was subjected to a massive air attack using drones (at least 352 units) and ballistic and cruise missiles (16 units), targeting residential areas of Kyiv and the suburbs.

Casualtiesand injuries:
Between 7 and 9 people were killed in Kyiv, including at least one child aged 11. In total, at least 8 people were killed in Ukraine.

30-34 people were injured, including several children and a pregnant woman.

Damage:
Residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district were severely damaged, including the completely destroyed entrance of one of the five-story buildings.

Destruction was also observed in Podilskyi, Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts.

The subway infrastructure (Svyatoshyn station), educational buildings (including the KPI), sports complexes, and outbuildings in the suburbs were damaged.

Airdefense and rescue efforts:
Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed 339 of 352 drones and 15 of 16 missiles.

Rescue units were working on the ground, especially in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where they were searching under the rubble.

Military and political context:
The attack took place as President Zelenskyy was visiting the UK – on the same day he had an audience with King Charles and requested more defense aid.

Ukraine claims that Russia is using Shahed drones and even North Korean KN-23 missiles, as well as possible Iranian involvement.

Ukraine’s military leadership has promised to expand strikes on targets in Russia in response.

This attack was one of the most massive in recent times – more than 350 drones and missiles attacked the capital, causing significant losses and damage to urban infrastructure.
