As a result of the Russian attack on the night of January 6, eight attack drones were recorded in six locations. This was reported in the Air Force Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
In total, the enemy used 61 Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones from the directions of: Millerovo, Kursk, Orel – Russia, as well as from occupied Donetsk.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 53 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the north, center and east of the country,” the statement said.
