The government has strengthened support for farmers in the frontline regions

on August 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to expand financial assistance for agricultural producers operating in areas of possible or active hostilities, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture reported , "Komersant Ukrainian".
Grants for gardening and greenhouses
The program of grants for the development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse farming has been introduced:
- A single compensation limit of up to UAH 400 thousand per hectare, regardless of the type of crop.
- The differentiation of grants by type of planting has been canceled.
Co-financing of projects
- Up to 80% of the cost will be covered for farmers working in the frontline or occupied areas.
- For other program participants – up to 50% of the cost.
- The rest of the costs (20% or 50%) must be covered by the participants themselves, either with their own funds or with credit.
Subsidies for perennial plantings
For territories with military operations, UAH 1000 per hectare is provided as additional budget support.
