Government allocates funds to restore Zmiivska and Trypilska TPPs

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated more than UAH 1.5 billion for the reconstruction of Zmiivska TPP in Kharkiv region and Trypilska TPP in Kyiv region. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
“In particular, UAH 726 million was allocated for the state-owned company Centrenergo from the reserve fund of the state budget. Another UAH 826 million has been allocated from the fund for liquidating the consequences of aggression. We expect maximum efficiency in the use of these funds. The work should be carried out as quickly as possible,”
– the Prime Minister wrote.
As a reminder, the Russians completely destroyed Trypillia and Zmiiv TPPs during massive attacks in March and April. Zmiivska TPP, one of the largest in the Kharkiv region, was destroyed on 22 March. Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko assured that the plant would be restored at the expense of a donor energy support fund.
Trypillia TPP, the most powerful power plant in Kyiv region, was destroyed by Russians on the night of 11 April. After that, Centrenergo lost 100% of its generation.
