The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has announced the launch of a beta version of thePulse online platform, reports "Komersant Ukrainian" citing the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

According to the ministry, the platform was created to collect feedback from entrepreneurs on their interaction with government agencies.

Key features of Pulse

  1. The goal is to create a single digital tool for transparent relations between the state and business.
  2. At the beta testing stage, 22 government agencies can be evaluated.
  3. The platform consists of three components: a dashboard, an information window and a personal account.
  4. Entrepreneurs can leave both positive and negative feedback on public services.
  5. The feedback will be used to form the Entrepreneur Satisfaction Score.

“For example, if you contact the tax office, ASC or other authorities and are not satisfied with the quality of services, you can leave a review on Pulse. The application will be taken into account to fix the problem, and the entrepreneur will receive a response to his or her request in the online office. We will digitise the feedback from businesses and use it to create the so-called Entrepreneur Satisfaction Score. We plan to integrate Pulse into most public services so that we can provide an instant assessment of most public services,”

– said Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The platform is part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy. It was developed by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Business Ombudsman Council and implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, USAID and UK Dev.

According to Ekonomichna Pravda, the Council for Entrepreneurship Support proposed to the government to introduce such a tool.

“This and other proposals we presented were formed in search of opportunities not to bring entrepreneurs to the boiling point. Our main goal is to stop the pressure on business. No one expects the first assessments from business to be high right away. But it is more important how it will change over time. This is a systemic project with big plans for development, so I see it as a good start for further changes,”

– said Artem Borodatiuk, a member of the Board and founder of Netpeak Group.

Meanwhile, the President signed the law on the White Business Club.
