The State Property Fund of Ukraine has begun preparations for the privatization of VinnytsiaPobutkhim, the former manufacturer of the famous Ushastyi Nian laundry detergent. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Justice.
The company will be put up for an open auction to attract investors for further development.
VinnytsiaPobutkhim produces children’s cosmetics and household chemicals under the trademarks Vuhastik, Sarma, Lotus-M, Max, Pride, and Polar Shine.
The plant used to belong to the Russian company Nevskaya Kosmetika, but it was nationalized under sanctions.

After the start of the full-scale Russian aggression, the company was first arrested and then transferred to the management of Craytex Service.
The new manager Ukrainized the main brand of the enterprise, renaming it from “Eared Nanny” to “Eared Ears”.
How did the company become state-owned?
The decision to transfer the company’s assets to the state was made by the High Anti-Corruption Court. This was the result of a lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against the Russian company Nevskaya Cosmetics, which previously owned the assets of VinnytsiaPobutkhim.
The sanctions were part of a large-scale initiative to confiscate Russian assets in Ukraine.
