Usyk begins preparations for fight with Fury

Ukrainian boxer, WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is preparing for a fight with Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world champion in a training camp. This was reported by the boxer’s manager Egis Klimas to iFL TV, Kommersant Ukrainian reports https://www.komersant.info/

Usyk’s manager noted that the Ukrainian boxer is looking forward to finally meeting the Briton in the ring.

“Everything is fine with Oleksandr. He has already started the camp. He is currently in a camp in Spain, training and preparing for the fight. We hope and pray that the fight will take place. I hope everything goes well, and on 18 May these men will step into the ring and the best man will win,”

Usyk vs Fury fight

On 17 February, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) will hold a historic fight. For the first time in history, four titles will be at stake and for the first time since 1999, the absolute world heavyweight champion will be determined.

The fight will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The exact time of the fight has not yet been announced, but it is assumed that it will start no earlier than 00:30 on Sunday, 18 February, Kyiv time.

The British boxer is considered the favourite of the fight. You can bet on Fury’s final victory at odds of 1.73. Usyk’s triumph is estimated at 2.20. The odds for a draw reach 15.00.
