Already made reservations can now be cancelled

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the criteria by which the government defines enterprises as critical to the economy, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
The changes were introduced by Resolution No. 1204 of 22 October.
The amendments state that the body that has recognised an enterprise as critical may now “if necessary” check the enterprise for this status. And if it turns out that the company does not meet the criteria, then, “based on the results of the inspection”, a decision may be made on non-compliance with the criteria and, accordingly, on cancellation of the critical importance status.
At the same time, according to the “Procedure for Reservation of Persons Liable for Military Service on the List of Persons Liable for Military Service during Martial Law”, the deprivation of a company of its critical importance status entails the cancellation of the deferral from mobilisation.
Thus, the government has prepared a legal basis for the possible cancellation of reservations for employees of critical enterprises.

, on Sunday, 20 October, it became known that the booking service through the Diia app had been temporarily suspended. When trying to book an employee, the app says that the service is not available until 15 November, as an audit of the booked conscripts is being conducted.
Domestic businesses are concerned about the halt in bookings and offer the authorities a temporary solution.

Which businesses are eligible to reserve employees
Only those companies that are recognised as critical to the functioning of Ukraine’s economy during the special period can book their employees. To qualify for this status, 3 of the 7 criteria listed below must be met:
- the amount of taxes paid for the previous year is more than the equivalent of €1,500,000;
- foreign currency revenues exceed the equivalent of €32,000,000;
- strategic importance for the economy and security (only for unique enterprises);
- no unified social contribution arrears;
- the size of the average wage is higher than the average wage in the region for the 4th quarter of 2021 (UAH 15,000.00 – 23,000.00);
- is important for the territorial community or economic sector;
- is a resident of Diia.City.
