The ARMA told how much money was found in 2024 and from whom

uAH 7 billion, USD 56 million. This is the amount of money found by the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets in 2024. This was announced at the International Conference “Implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Policy in the International Dimension” by Vitaliy Chubayevsky, Director of the Department for Finding, Tracing, Financial and Other Assets of the ARMA, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
In his speech, the official mentioned the most high-profile anti-corruption investigations in which the Agency was involved.
“The ARMA is an anti-corruption body that has an important role in identifying and tracing assets acquired through criminal means, as well as managing seized assets. Recent high-profile cases have included the tracing of assets of corrupt officials from the Medicines and Healthcare Commission, as well as in cases of illegal border crossing,” said Vitaliy Chubaievsky.
He explained that information about the identified assets is transferred to the pre-trial investigation authorities for seizure measures with their subsequent transfer to the ARMA.
Search for assets of defendants in corruption cases in the MSEC
Weapons, luxury cars, millions of hryvnias in accounts held by affiliated companies and construction companies, hundreds of apartments and hundreds of land plots – this is just a part of what ARMA has found on the hands of the MSEC employees.
According to the Head of ARMA, Olena Duma, in addition to the property seized by law enforcement during the searches, ARMA officers found the first assets of the five defendants in these criminal proceedings and their entourage:
– 128 residential and non-residential real estate units (including residential houses and apartments in regional centers, apartments in Kyiv, apartments, entertainment complexes, garages, parking lots, offices)
– 140 land plots (with designated purposes, in particular, for housing construction, agricultural production, and gardening);
– 30 cars (including premium cars such as Lexus, Tesla, etc.);
– corporate rights totaling more than UAH 20 million (including in an energy company and a construction company);
– millions of hryvnias in bank accounts;
– weapons.

Identification of assets of officials who helped fugitives
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets has processed about 700 requests from law enforcement agencies in criminal proceedings related to the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. The suspects in the investigations include officials and employees of various state bodies. Among the assets found by the ARMA:
– 700 units of motor vehicles;
– 390 units of residential real estate;
– 138 units of non-residential real estate
– 146 units of weapons;
– 544 land plots;
– 12 units of sea and river transport;
– 19 units of agricultural machinery;
– shares in authorized capital worth UAH 392.6 million;
– uAH 14.7 million on the bank accounts of the suspects.
Information on these and other identified assets is being transferred to the pre-trial investigation authorities to take measures to seize the identified assets and then transfer them to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets.
