Kremenchuk resumes traffic on bridge damaged by Russian strike: footage appears

On the night of September 7, in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, the road surface on the bridge over the Dnipro River was damaged. As it became known earlier, the occupiers struck at the Kryukiv bridge. Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, released a photo of the aftermath of the attack, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The enemy tried to break the two banks of the Dnipro River in Kremenchuk last night. Road traffic has already been restored,” wrote the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
He noted that all railroad units have been working on the spot since dawn, along with bomb squads. Work is also underway to restore rail service. Bus shuttles have been temporarily launched to provide transportation for passengers, and no long-distance flights will be canceled.





The mayor of the city, Vitaliy Maletskiy, said that the restoration work is still ongoing and that short-term traffic closures on the bridge are possible in the coming days.

Kremenchuk Mayor Vitaliy Maletsky said the driver was not injured.
“As for the same car, the driver is alive!” the mayor wrote.
As a result of the attack on the bridge in Kremenchuk, the road surface was damaged, which led to temporary traffic closures. However, due to the promptness and coordination of actions, road traffic was restored and bus shuttles were launched to provide local residents and visitors with the necessary transportation.
