The National Bank of Ukraine has denied information about new limits on card transfers and card blocking for exceeding them, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"

Earlier today, a number of media outlets and Telegram channels reported that the NBU had recommended that Ukrainian banks tighten control over card transfers. Specifically, it was allegedly recommended to tie the limit of such transfers to the monthly income indicated by the subscriber when filling out the card application form. For example, with a monthly income of UAH 20 thousand, the account should be blocked until the circumstances are clarified if the card receives funds in excess of this amount.
