On the night of August 20, Russian troops carried out massive drone strikes in Sumy and Odessa regions. As a result of the attacks, people were injured, infrastructure was damaged, and fires broke out at the sites of the strikes, "Komersant Ukrainian" reported.

Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy OVA, said of the attack on the Akhtyr community.
“On the night of August 20, the Russians launched a massive strike on the Akhtyrska community. Enemy attack drones attacked the private sector. At the sites of hits – fires. Preliminary – there are no fatalities. There are injured, people seek medical assistance.”

Attack on the Odessa region
Izmail district state administration reported a kamikaze drone strike on the port infrastructure.
“Despite the active work of the Air Defense Force, unfortunately, there is a hit. As a result of the attack, the port port infrastructure was damaged. Fires have arisen, which are being liquidated by the forces of units of the RU of the GU of the State emergency service in the Odessa region.”

According to the administration, one person was injured. Now he is provided with the necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the AFU reported that over the past 24 hours, the AFU soldiers put 920 Russian soldiers, 1 tank, 4 armored vehicles, 50 artillery systems and other equipment out of action.
