A powerful earthquake struck Turkey

The magnitude of the earthquake, which was felt in Istanbul and nearby cities, was 6.1.
This was reported by the press service of the Disaster Management Authority (AFAD), "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The earthquake was recorded in the Sindirga district of Balikesir province. The center of the disaster was located at a depth of 11 km.
Currently, experts have begun assessing the damage, and no negative consequences of the earthquake have been recorded.
