Power outages will be in effect in Ukraine on March 9
9 March 04:17
On Monday, March 9, in some regions of Ukraine, from 8:00 a.m. until the end of the day, electricity will be cut off for domestic and industrial consumers according to hourly schedules.
This was reported by Ukrenergo, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The company explained that the reason for the power outages is the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
It is also noted that the time and scope of the restrictions may change, and Ukrainians are advised to follow the information on the official websites of the regional power companies in each region separately.
Since January 14, on the orders of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a state of emergency has been in effect in Ukraine’s energy sector against the backdrop of Russian strikes.
