Today, August 23, a MiG-29 fighter jet crashed in Ukraine at night.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the military, the crash occurred when the plane was landing after a combat mission. The pilot, Major Serhiy Bondar, born in 1979, died in the crash.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
