Ukraine intensifies power outages: November 13 – up to four simultaneous blackouts

13 November 2025 06:27

Today, November 13, Ukraine will be subject to stricter power outage schedules. According to Ukrenergo, the scope of restrictions during the day will be up to four simultaneous phases, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“In most regions of Ukraine, measures will be taken to limit consumption. This is a forced step due to the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities,” the company said in an official statement.

What is known about the schedules

On November 13, from 00:00 to 23:59, hourly outage schedules for household consumers will be in effect – within two to four queues.

Also, power restrictions for industrial enterprises will continue throughout the day.

Ukrenergo clarifies that the scope of restrictions and the time of their application may vary throughout the day depending on the situation in the power system.

Consequences of attacks on the energy sector

After the Russian shelling on November 10, power engineers recorded new damage to power facilities in several regions.

Emergency repairs are underway at substations and thermal power plants that were damaged in previous attacks.

According to Ukrenergo, the situation in the power system remains difficult after the attacks on Zmiivska TPP in Kharkiv region and Trypilska TPP in Kyiv region. The damaged facilities played a key role in connecting nuclear power plants to the grid, so blackouts will continue for a long time.

Where to find out your outage schedule

“Ukrenergo urges Ukrainians to follow the updates on the official pages of regional power distribution companies in their region. They publish current schedules and changes in outages.

“When electricity is supplied on schedule, please consume it sparingly,” the company emphasized.

Information for each region is updated in social networks on the official pages of the regional power distribution companies:
