There are still a dozen Leninist local courts in Ukraine. They will finally be renamed

In total, 103 local general courts are to be renamed. The corresponding draft law No. 12351 was registered this week in parliament. This was announced by Denys Maslov, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The legal basis for the renaming, in addition to common sense, is “the need to bring the principles of court functioning in line with the laws ‘On the Condemnation of Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and the Prohibition of Propaganda of Their Symbols’.” “On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language”, “On Assigning Names (Pseudonyms) of Individuals, Anniversaries and Holidays, Names and Dates of Historical Events to Legal Entities and Objects of Property Rights”. In other words, the names of more than a hundred local courts that continue to exercise their powers in Ukraine contradict and do not meet the requirements of these laws.
Thus, soon the Red Army, Red Guard, Dzerzhinsky, Komsomol, and Lenin courts will change their names to those consistent with the current Ukrainian realities.
