Young potatoes are rapidly becoming cheaper in Ukraine

Potatoes of the new harvest are getting cheaper in Ukraine, with farmers already selling them at 18-28 UAH per kilogram. This is 10% less than a week ago.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to analysts of the EastFruit project.
The main reason for the decline in prices is the active supply of products from local farms to the market. At the same time, demand remains high, so a price collapse was avoided.
It should be reminded that this year’s potatoes are still 30% more expensive than in the same period last year. However, the downward trend continues, and prices may fall even further in the coming days.
