The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has registered the new Myronivka Industrial Park. It has become the hundredth industrial park created in Ukraine and the first registered in 2025. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

This industrial park is located in Myronivka, Obukhiv district, Kyiv region. It should provide 1500 new jobs and attract more than UAH 1 billion in investments.

The key areas of activity of Myronivka Industrial Park are the production of metal building structures and products, the production of finished metal products and electrical equipment, other products, as well as alternative energy, scientific and technical activities, and activities in the field of information and telecommunications.

State support for industrial parks

As the Ministry of Economy reminds, participants in industrial parks receive a number of tax and customs benefits, including

– exemption from import VAT and customs duties on equipment (provided that there are no Ukrainian analogues and it is used exclusively within the park)

– exemption from corporate income tax for 10 years, subject to reinvestment of funds in the development of the enterprise;

– the possibility of obtaining local tax benefits by decision of local authorities.

The state continues to support the development of industrial parks as part of the “Made in Ukraine” economic policy.

In 2025, the Government also plans to allocate resources to co-finance the construction and reconstruction of the engineering and transport infrastructure of industrial parks.

“In 2024, the state provided financial incentives to industrial parks for the first time to create engineering and transport infrastructure. This year, we will continue to provide co-financing to increase not only the number of registered parks, but also the number of enterprises that open or develop on the territory of these parks,” said Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

“This should contribute to economic development, job creation and local budget revenues.

Eco-industrial parks should appear in Ukraine

A draft law submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers to the Verkhovna Rada will improve the functioning of industrial parks in Ukraine. The same document introduces the model of an “eco-industrial park”.

“This will be an innovative format of industrial sites where businesses will use alternative energy sources, take a rational approach to waste management and optimize the use of water resources,” Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal explained the features of the new model.

The draft law also defines the concept of “industrial park” by simplifying the terminology (instead of “industrial (industrial) park”). The list of economic activities that can be carried out on the territory of an industrial park, as well as those that are prohibited in an industrial park, has been clarified.

The Law defines the concepts of “eco-industrial park” and “industrial symbiosis within an industrial park”; establishes the powers of the authorized state body to determine an industrial park included in the Register of Industrial Parks as an eco-industrial park in accordance with the procedure established by the CMU, and defines the list of grounds for the authorized body to decide to deprive an industrial park of the status of an eco-industrial park.

It is stipulated that the selection of the territory for an eco-industrial park shall be carried out taking into account the priority of environmental safety, preservation and development of nature protection areas and objects.
