The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine in cooperation with Ukrtransbezpeka has published an electronic list of bus stations. This is stated on the Government portal, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
As of December 14, more than 300 bus stations were reportedly registered in the List, and work on filling it continues. The initiative will help streamline the work of bus stations across the country.
The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine reminded that the creation of the List was approved by the Government on September 10, 2024.
“From now on, the inclusion of a bus station in the List is a prerequisite for providing services to carriers and passengers. In case of absence from the List, bus stations will not be included in bus routes submitted for passenger transportation tenders. All permits issued prior to the publication of the List remain valid,” the Ministry explained.
The register of bus stations is compiled on an application basis through a convenient online format, which minimizes bureaucracy and greatly simplifies the process.
In the near future, the profiles of bus stations will become more detailed: they will include photos, links to official websites and online services, as well as contact phone numbers for inquiries. This will make the information useful not only for carriers but also for passengers.
To add a bus station to the List, its owner needs to fill out a simple application via the link. An electronic signature is required. The application must specify the address of the bus station, its location, and basic data: how many platforms, parking spaces, opening hours, whether there are waiting rooms and restrooms. It is also important to correctly enter the registration number of the bus station from the State Register of Real Estate Rights.
