Agricultural production in Ukraine decreased by 8.4% in 8 months

In January-August 2025, Ukraine recorded an 8.4% decrease in agricultural production compared to the same period in 2024.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Statistics Service.

According to the categories of farms, the index of agricultural production in all categories amounted to 91.6% of the previous year. In particular, the crop production index was 90.3%, and the livestock production index was 95.1%.

It should be added that in January-June 2025, exports of agri-food products from Ukraine amounted to USD 11.3 billion, which is 9% less than last year’s figures for the same period. The key products were grains and oilseeds.
