HBO Max launched in Ukraine: price, content and how to subscribe

HBO Max, one of the world’s most popular streaming services, has officially launched in Ukraine. Ukrainian users can now directly subscribe to the platform, view content in Ukrainian and use the full functionality of the service. This is reported on the HBO Max website, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs
What is known about the launch of HBO Max in Ukraine
The official website of HBO Max already has a Ukrainian interface and tariffs in UAH.
The platform is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery and offers content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, Max Originals and Discovery.
Ukrainian viewers have access to popular TV series such as The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, The Penguin, as well as cult franchises such as Harry Potter and Minecraft: The Movie”.

The platform is available via:

- web version on hbomax.com;
- Smart TV;
- tablets and other devices that support the app.
Users can also download content for offline viewing, which is especially convenient when traveling or without internet access.

The service offers two main packages:
Standard – €7.99 per month (≈386 UAH):

- Quality: Full HD
- Up to 30 downloads
Premium – €9.99 per month (≈483 UAH):
- 4 devices simultaneously
- Quality: 4K UHD Dolby Atmos
- Up to 100 downloads.
Additionally, you can subscribe to the Sports package for €3 (≈145 UAH) per month, which gives you access to Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 channels.
