For the first time since the full-scale war began, a NATO delegation led by Admiral Pierre Vandier, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces for Transformation, visited Ukraine.
This was reported by [Komersant], citing a Telegram post by Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The parties discussed in detail the involvement of Ukrainian military personnel in future NATO exercises as a simulated adversary (Red Team).
“Last year’s experience of our units’ participation demonstrated the latest methods of warfare to our allies—in training scenarios, Ukrainian teams demonstrated a significant advantage,” Palisa noted.
They also discussed the future of JATEC (the NATO-Ukraine Joint Training Center).
“We are entering the final stage of deploying Ukrainian command and control systems, developing analytical capabilities, and scaling up training programs,” said the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office.
