Ukraine runs out of missiles for Patriot and IRIS-T – Bild

Ukraine has virtually no missiles to counter Western air defence systems. German journalist Julian Röpke wrote about this in X, according to Komersant ukrainskyi https://www.komersant.info/

“As I said weeks ago (and almost no one believed me): Ukraine has run out of Patriot and Iris-T missiles. Most other stockpiles of air defence systems have also been exhausted or destroyed. This is despite the fact that we have hundreds of systems and thousands of missiles in our warehouses. There are no words. Just anger,”

– the journalist wrote.

He clarified that he was referring to the number of missiles, which is very close to zero.

“For clarification. It is better not to say that Ukraine has ZERO Patriot PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles. A source told me the allegedly accurate current number two weeks ago. I will not disclose it, of course. But the number was so small that now it is probably almost zero,”

– röpke added.

Air Force spokesman Ilya Yevlash responded to these words, but avoided specifics.

“We cannot disclose the specific number of missiles we have left, as this information is classified. Indeed, missiles for air defence systems are in short supply for us, as Ukraine does not produce them, and we are completely dependent on our partners. Our partners are aware of our need, they know what we need,”

– evlash told NV.ua.
