Innovative mobile donor hub “Warm-Blooded” has been launched in Ukraine

FUIB and Mastercard in partnership with DonorUA and Blood Agents public organization presented an innovative project – mobile donor hub “Warm-Blooded”. The initiative is aimed at popularization of donation culture in Ukraine through creation of comfortable conditions for blood donation, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Project features
Mobile donor station is a modern comfortable bus, which will travel around the cities of Ukraine. The main goal of the project is to provide donors with the most positive experience of blood donation without traditional inconveniences.
“Warm-blooded” offers:
- convenient online registration without queues;
- professional medical team;
- a friendly atmosphere and cozy environment;
- absence of unnecessary bureaucracy.

First stop in Kiev
The starting location for Warm Bloods was the capital of Ukraine. on August 23-24, on the eve of Independence Day, the donor hub will start its work on Kontraktova Square in Kiev.
Famous Ukrainian personalities, in particular actors Nazar Grabar and Antonina Khizhnyak, TV presenter Timur Miroshnichenko, photographer Konstantin Liberov and other public figures joined the action.
Further plans
After the Kiev stop, the bus will go on an all-Ukrainian tour to attract new donors from different regions of the country. The collected blood will be donated to wounded defenders and protectors of Ukraine, as well as other patients who need help the most.

Merch with a social mission
Alongside the donor hub FUIB and Mastercard presented a new line of products “Teplokrovni” under the project “We are of the same blood”. Half of the funds from merchandise sales will be used to support the activities of DonorUA and Blood Agents NGOs.
The Warm Blood initiative demonstrates a new approach to solving the problem of blood donor shortage in Ukraine, combining modern technologies, comfort for donors and efficient logistics.
