Ukrzaliznytsia has calculated how many Ukrainians will celebrate the New Year on the road

Nine thousand passengers will celebrate the new year 2025 on Ukrzaliznytsia trains. The national carrier announced this on its Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
On New Year’s Eve, thousands of railroad employees will ensure the operation of the infrastructure and 108 trains. They will be on duty at level crossings, inspecting cars, controlling traffic, driving locomotives, and taking care of your peace of mind and comfort on trains and at stations.
To meet passenger demand for travel during the holidays, Ukrzaliznytsia has added 52 cars to trains across the country, including 5 cars to the train No. 79/80 Lviv – Kyiv – Dnipro.
- Additional cars were also added to the trains:
- no. 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhhorod,
- no. 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv,
- no. 39/40 Zaporizhzhia – Solotvyno,
- no. 127/128 Zaporizhzhia – Lviv,
- no. 121/122 Mykolaiv – Kyiv.
Together, this provided about 4,000 additional seats in both directions for passengers across the country.
