Vyacheslav Zinchenko, an 18-year-old resident of Dnipro, suspected of murdering public figure and former MP Iryna Farion, spoke to journalists for several minutes after the court hearing where he was chosen as a preventive measure. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

“I am ready to listen to questions, but I cannot guarantee that I will answer them,” he said,

– he warned.

At the very beginning of the conversation, the suspect was asked whether he would admit his guilt, to which he briefly replied “no” and asked the media for “more interesting questions”, calling the question about his stay in Lviv at the time of the murder “boring”.

Viacheslav became noticeably more animated when it came to his preferences in literature. He said that he was interested in books on psychology, in particular a series that suggested that human behaviour depends on genes. In this context, he named Robert Plomin, author of the book “The Gene Plan. How DNA makes us who we are”.

The suspect cut off attempts to turn the conversation to the murder of Irina Farion.

“I did nothing, I did nothing with Irina Farion. I’m asking for more interesting questions. Like these questions – I said I did nothing with her, it was not me,”

he said.

He also refused to talk about his attitude to neo-Nazi movements.

“I can develop thoughts that do not coincide with reality. I’m not ready to publicly express my opinion on any political topics,” Viacheslav explained.

As for his attitude towards Russia, the murder suspect Farion gave a common answer.

“I can’t say how I feel about Russia as a state, because I was very little interested in Russian history. But I have a very negative attitude towards Putin, the FSB, and his regime, I want nothing to do with them. My attitude is as negative as possible. That’s it,” he assured.

He also said that he did not remember what he sent from Dnipro to Lviv.

In response to clarifying questions, he said that he had “ordered similar glasses and a panama hat, which are depicted in the suspect’s photo”.

The man also said that he was a certified UAV operator, but had no idea how to use these skills.

He also explained why he stuck his tongue out to the daughter of the murdered Irina Farion before the court hearing.

“She asked me if I had swallowed my tongue, and I showed her that I had,” he said.

The suspect again said that he had not killed anyone.

“I didn’t kill Farion and I don’t want to comment on anything else,” he said, ending the conversation with journalists.

It should be noted that the next victim of the suspect in the murder of Irina Farion could be MP from the Servant of the People party Maksym Buzhansky from Dnipro.

The suspect’s phone searches contain the names of other politicians and MPs. He also searched for information about regional council meetings, etc. He was looking for all this after Farion’s murder.
