Timely assistance: Ukraine will receive generators from Georgia

                                                                    The Georgian government will send aid to Ukraine in the form of generators worth 1.5 million GEL. This was reported on Georgian Channel One, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“According to the resolution, the Energy Development Fund of Georgia will purchase generators of various types worth 1.5 million GEL for delivery to Ukraine,” the channel quoted the decision of the department.
The resolution will be signed by the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday, October 31.
Attacks on Ukraine’s energy system
On the night of October 30, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Western regions, including Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as Dnipropetrovs’k, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions, were hit.
The attacks damaged thermal power plants, energy facilities, residential buildings and businesses. Hundreds of settlements were left without power, and several regions reported injuries, including children.
In Zaporizhzhia, a rocket destroyed a dormitory, in Ladyzhyn (Vinnytsia region) the city was left without heat and water, and in Lviv region two power facilities were damaged.
