Spring by 1.3°: Kyiv has experienced one of the warmest warmings in over 140 years

The average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in the spring of 2025 was 10.7°C, which is 1.3°C higher than the climatic norm. This was reported by the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to meteorologists, this spring is among the ten warmest in the capital since 1881.

The most noticeable deviation was recorded in March – 4.9°C above normal.

The coldest day was March 18 (-4.3°C), and the warmest were April 23 and 24 (27.4°C). Precipitation for the season amounted to 147 mm, which is 101% of the average.

This spring, 17 temperature records were recorded in Kyiv, most of which occurred in March, which was the warmest in the history of observations in the capital.

The average temperature in spring 2025 in Kyiv was 10.7 °C, which is 1.3 °C above the climate norm. This made the spring the tenth warmest since 1881, according to the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory.

The warmest days of spring were April 23 and 24, when the temperature reached 27.4°C.

Total precipitation in the spring amounted to 147 mm, which is 101% of the climatic norm.
