Spring warmth is gaining momentum: where will it be warmest in Ukraine?

On March 10, the weather in Ukraine will be determined by an anticyclone, which will bring dry, sunny, and relatively warm weather to almost the entire country.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Despite cold nights, daytime temperatures will rise to 17 degrees in some places.

The anticyclone and its impact

According to the forecaster, on March 10, Ukraine will experience anticyclonic weather.

This means:

  • no precipitation;
  • mostly sunny skies;
  • gradual spring warming.

The wind will be southwesterly, moderate, sometimes gusty.

Temperature by region

According to the forecast, the maximum daytime air temperature will be:

  • west, center, and south — from 12 to 17 °C;
  • north and east — 10…14 °C;
  • northeast — 9 to 12 °C.

Nighttime temperatures will remain significantly lower, with light frosts possible in some areas.

Weather in the capital

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Kyiv is expected to be slightly cloudy with no precipitation.

The wind will be southwesterly, 5–10 m/s.

The temperature will be:

  • at night 1–3 °C;
  • during the day 13… 15 °C.

In the Kyiv region, the temperature at night will range from 3 °C to −2 °C, and during the day it will rise to 10–15 °C.

Spring is gradually intensifying

Forecasters predict that in the coming days, Ukraine will continue to experience warm and mostly sunny weather without precipitation.
