From defense companies to investment funds: what the top three richest people in the Czech Republic look like

The richest person in the Czech Republic is 33-year-old Michal Strnad, owner of the defense conglomerate Czechoslovak Group.
This was reported by the Czech edition of Forbes, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The entrepreneur’s fortune is estimated at $31.1 billion (over 653 billion Czech korunas). He became the only Czech in the top 100 of the world’s billionaires, ranking 68th.
Rapid growth after going public
Strnad’s wealth grew after the Czechoslovak Group defense group went public in January 2026.
According to Forbes analysts, during this time:
- the businessman’s fortune grew almost sevenfold;
- he rose to the top 100 richest people in the world.
