MP: One hectare of industrial park creates up to 50 jobs

In Ukraine, industrial parks are becoming an important tool for economic development and investment attraction, as each hectare of the park can create dozens of new jobs and revenues for local budgets. This was stated by Dmytro Kysylevsky, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, in an interview with the "Komersant Ukrainian" YouTube channel.

“One hectare of an industrial park creates up to 50 jobs when the park is fully utilized. That is, when all the factories in it have already been built, launched, and are working,” Kysylevsky said.

He explained that these indicators are important for communities assessing the economic feasibility of creating a park.

“The community knows what the average salary is on its territory. An industrial park of, say, 30 hectares means 50 jobs per hectare. If we manage to fill it completely with industrial enterprises, the community can count on 1,500 jobs and personal income tax revenues to the local budget,” the deputy said.

This approach allows planning the community’s financial resources for infrastructure development: roads, power supply and other facilities necessary for the park’s full operation.
