Power outages on November 14: when and where the schedules will be in effect

On Friday, November 14, most regions of Ukraine will be subject to hourly power outages. Such measures are necessary to balance the power system after the consequences of massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
When there will be no electricity
According to Ukrenergo, consumption restrictions are planned for the whole day – from 00:00 to 23:59.
The outages will last for 2-4 hours each, depending on the load on the grid in a particular region.
Industrial consumers will also be subject to power restrictions during the same period.
Why are blackouts being introduced?
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the reason for the restrictions is the damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks. Restoration work is ongoing, but the load on the system remains high.
“The time and scope of outages may vary depending on the situation in the power system. Follow the updates on the official pages of your regional power company,” the company said.
What is the advice to Ukrainians?
“Ukrenergo urges consumers to use electricity sparingly during the hours when it is supplied according to the schedule.
In particular, it is recommended to
- turn off powerful electrical appliances during peak hours;
- not to turn on several energy-intensive devices at the same time;
- if possible, postpone household chores to nighttime.

“Ukrenergo urges Ukrainians to follow the updates on the official pages of regional power distribution companies in their region. They publish current schedules and changes in outages.
“When electricity is supplied on schedule, please use it sparingly,” the company emphasized.
