As of today, traffic on the border with Romania has been partially restricted

The Solotvyno-Sighetu Marmatiei checkpoint on the border with Romania will periodically suspend vehicle clearance on weekdays starting July 7. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
In particular, according to the Romanian side, from July 7, on weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 9:00 to 15:00, vehicle registration will be periodically suspended.
However, this does not apply to pedestrians. Pedestrian traffic will remain unchanged – the restriction applies only to cars.
The reason for the restrictions is the reconstruction of the bridge over the Tisa River, which will last approximately 62 days – until September 3.
What checkpoints are already on the border with Romania?
Currently, there are four cargo checkpoints for large vehicles on the border of Ukraine and Romania: “Porubne – Siret, Orlivka – Isaccea, Dyakove – Halmeu, and Krasnoyilsk – Vicovu de Sus (for empty trucks).
