The Asset Recovery and Management Agency will have access to remote sensing data, which will allow it to obtain high-quality images of objects transferred to the agency’s management. This is reported by ARMA in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The agency called the agreement with the State Space Agency of Ukraine a “revolutionary step” in the fight against asset concealment.
“Thanks to cooperation with the State Space Agency of Ukraine, we will be able to track the status of assets literally from space – quickly, accurately and anywhere in the world,” says Olena Duma.
Acting Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Volodymyr Mikheev adds that Ukrainian space technologies will now also be used to ensure transparency in the management of seized assets.
The ARMA emphasizes that potential bidders for asset management will also appreciate the new capabilities, as they will be able to remotely inspect facilities anywhere in the world, making the process more transparent and efficient.
In conclusion, Olena Duma emphasized that more digital solutions and projects are to come, “which will make ARMA’s work even more efficient.”
