The mobilized Roman Sopin could not have received such numerous injuries as a result of a simple fall. This was stated in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian" by the lawyer of the victim’s family, Oleksandr Protas.
According to him, the nature of the injuries does not correspond to the version of a fall as a result of an epileptic seizure.
“On October 19, in the afternoon, he was hospitalized with a fractured skull, a cracked skull base, and hemorrhages in the posterior right, right, and frontal parts of the brain.
More or less, a specialist will immediately say that it was not a fall. You can’t get such hemorrhages in three different places in the brain when you fall. It was some kind of three blows,” said Protas.
We will remind, 43-year-old Roman Sopin died on October 23 in one of the capital’s hospitals. Sopin was admitted to the hospital on October 19. on October 18, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, the lawyer of Roman Sopin’s family, Oleksandr Protas, reported that on the day of the incident, two men had a conflict with Roman on the territory of the Podilsky shopping center.
In his turn, Vitaliy Silenko, a representative of the Kyiv City TCC’s communications group, denies this information and notes that there were no reports of any conflict situations.
“Roman Sopin was standing there, talking to other people who were there. Suddenly, he felt sick: he fainted, fell and began to convulse,” said Silenko.
