The military will be provided with a “wounded man’s package”: what it will include

The Defense Ministry will start issuing “Wounded Warrior Packages” to the military. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy Melnyk explained what this initiative is and what exactly Ukrainian defenders will receive, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The Wounded Warrior Package is an initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine aimed at supporting Ukrainian servicemen during their recovery from injuries. Currently, adaptive clothing for wounded soldiers and specialized clothing for female soldiers are being developed.
Sergiy Melnyk explained that according to the developed plan, medical units will convey the need for wounded soldiers’ packages to the Medical Forces command, after which the Defense Forces units will distribute the packages according to the needs.
“The Wounded Warrior Package will include 30 items designed to meet the various situations in which wounded servicemen may find themselves. From adaptive clothing to special utensils that will facilitate eating and hygiene products.
“I would also like to note that the “wounded soldier’s package” for our female defenders will differ from the men’s one, taking into account the needs of women,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
He clarified that the “wounded soldier’s package” will be issued to all servicemen of all the Defense Forces who are admitted to medical units and medical institutions after being wounded or illnesses received during combat missions.
