Military registration without a TCC: who can now register online and how

29 January 07:46

Ukrainians can now register for military service online—without visiting the Territorial Recruitment Center in person or undergoing a medical examination. This option is available in the Rezerv mobile app. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

How online military registration works

The Ministry of Defense explained that the new service allows users to register for military service in just a few clicks, without queues, paper documents, or trips to territorial recruitment and social support centers.

“Military registration no longer requires a personal visit to the TCC and SP. This can be done in the “Reserve” app in a few clicks, even from abroad,” the ministry said.

The new digital mechanism is designed to simplify the procedure for conscripts and those liable for military service, as well as to reduce the workload on TCC employees.

Who can use the service

Online registration for military service through the “Reserve” app is available to the following categories of citizens:

  • young men born in 2009 — until July 31;
  • men aged 25 to 59, including those abroad;
  • persons who have not previously been registered for military service;
  • citizens who have biometric documents.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that online registration is available only to those who are registering for the first time.

How to register with the Reserve

  1. Install the Reserve app or update it to the latest version.
  2. Log in to the app.
  3. Select the “Register” function.
  4. Wait for the request to be processed automatically.

After successful registration, your Reserve ID will appear in the app with the status “Conscript” for citizens aged 17-24 or “Conscript” for men aged 25-59.

Who should apply to the TCC in person

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense clarified that personal visits to the TCC and SP remain mandatory for:

  • persons who have been removed from military registration;
  • women who are subject to military registration.

The online mechanism does not currently apply to these categories.

Why was the new feature introduced?

The ministry noted that the new feature allows:

  • quickly register without queues and bureaucracy;
  • minimize paper document flow;
  • reduce the workload on the TCC and SP;
  • simplify the process for Ukrainians who are outside the country.

What else has appeared in “Reserve”

In early January, the Reserve app also added the option to activate notifications about paper summonses.

As a reminder, at the end of December, the Ministry of Defense began testing the online military registration feature through the app, and now the service is available to users.
