A massive night attack on the capital and the region on February 22, 2026, resulted in damage to residential buildings in several areas. In one of the suburban settlements, the house of People’s Deputy Dmytro Razumkov was hit. He witnessed the destruction of a neighboring house and personally joined in the rescue of people.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the MP, the explosion was caused by a rocket or its debris after being shot down by air defense systems. Razumkov’s own house, located on a street adjacent to the epicenter of the strike, suffered significant damage.
“There are no windows, some were blown out, some were broken. Everything is fine, the children were a little scared, but definitely better than others, thank you, everything is fine,” said Dmytro Razumkov.
After the explosion, the deputy went to a neighboring house, where he helped a woman who was able to get out on her own and took her child to a safe place. Later, other caring men came to help. Together, they lifted heavy slabs of concrete, under which another child and the father of the family were trapped.
As is known, on the night of February 22, Russia carried out another missile attack on the Ukrainian capital.
