Vodafone Ukraine raises tariffs: what will change in March
20 February 16:17
One of Ukraine’s largest mobile operators, Vodafone, is updating the cost of a number of tariff plans from March 1. The price increase applies to both prepaid and contract packages. On average, prices are rising by 50-70 UAH, and in some cases even more, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The company sent information about the changes to users in a message.
What exactly will change
According to the telecom community MZU, the cost of more than ten prepaid tariffs will increase starting March 5.
Among them:
- Joice — from 260 to 330 UAH
- Turbo — from 270 to 340 UAH
- SuperNet Pro — from 340 to 400 UAH
- Joice MAX — from 450 to 520 UAH
- SuperNet Unlim — from 470 to 520 UAH
This mainly refers to an increase of 60–70 UAH per package (monthly or 4 weeks).
Contract rates will change on March 1. Specifically:
- Red Turbo — from 200 to 260 UAH
- Red Start — from 240 to 300 UAH
- Red Unlim — from 400 to 460 UAH
- Red Unlim Max — from 575 to 625 UAH
What is being offered in return
The company positions the changes as an update to the packages. In terms of tariffs, subscribers are promised increased mobile internet volume — but mainly for roaming, rather than within Ukraine.
In this way, the operator compensates for the increase in cost by expanding international opportunities for users.
The story of “A Year Without Subscription Fees”
Vodafone previously announced an increase in the cost of the “Year without subscription fees” service in its archived tariffs. However, this information subsequently disappeared from the official website.
Instead, the revision is taking place directly in the packages. Full subscription for a year is currently available at the old prices, as noted.
Mobile communications market: general trend
Vodafone is not the first operator to revise its tariffs this winter. Earlier, Kyivstar increased the cost of a number of archived packages by 50-90 UAH.
Mobile operator lifecell raised the cost of some popular tariff plans on February 18, 2026. The changes apply to the Maxi and Mega packages, but only for new subscribers. Users who connected to these tariffs earlier will continue to use the services at the old prices.
