Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy in black and white embroidered shirts congratulated Ukrainians on the holiday

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena Zelenska, wearing stylish embroidered shirts, congratulated Ukrainians on the holiday, Vyshyvanka Day, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Zelenskyy noted that, visible or invisible, the embroidered shirt is always under the pixel of a defender and under a rescuer’s uniform, under a doctor’s coat, a power engineer’s jacket, it is on a volunteer, a teacher, and everyone who holds the defence.
“Our children have known her since they were little. She is a symbol of unity of all generations of Ukrainians through the centuries,”
– he wrote on social media.
The President of Ukraine stressed that the pattern of vyshyvanka is so unique because it is embroidered by our own hands on a cloth woven with our values.
Over the years of resistance to aggression, Zelenskyy said, vyshyvanka has become an informal uniform for all those who defend humanity, freedom and the right to identity.
“Happy Vyshyvanka Day, Ukraine, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine!”
– zelensky added.
The first lady wore a white shirt with a pattern embroidered in black thread. The President, on the other hand, wore a black shirt embroidered in white. Their embroidered shirts matched each other well with their minimalist colour scheme.
It is worth noting that Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy chose embroidered shirts from Ukrainian brands. Thus, the president wore an embroidered shirt from Etnodim, which costs UAH 4,400 without a discount, and the first lady wore a Yavorivsky Divotsvit from Gaptuvalnya (UAH 9,950)
