Volunteer and blogger Serhiy Sternenko was put on the wanted list for failing to appear at a military commissariat. This was reported by the blogger himself in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to Sternek, he learned about this not from Ukrainian law enforcement, but from Russian media. He also claims that the summons came to his old address in Odesa, although he now lives in Kyiv and in May he entered his Kyiv address in the Reserves, which he confirmed with a screenshot.

“I went to the Reserve, there is no wanted list there. The summons was allegedly sent to me in Odesa, where I moved from 6 years ago. In May, I indicated my address in Kyiv to the Reserve, and I’m attaching a screenshot. Nothing came here. The summons was sent neither to my address nor to my residence,” the blogger explained.

According to Sternenko, the fact that on the day of the alleged wanted notice, he was at a meeting at the Ministry of Defense is a separate surprise.

The blogger announced his intention to look into this curious situation and voiced his vision of the reasons for what happened.

“There are already reasons to believe that this may be a “greeting” from the army system for criticizing and calling for the reforms that our military demand. Or someone really wants to stop the supply of drones to the army and projects to destroy Russian reconnaissance and strike UAVs,” Sterneko emphasized.

As you know, a few years ago, Sterneko already had a case with law enforcement. In particular, on June 11, 2020, the Security Service of Ukraine notified Sternenko of suspicion of premeditated murder and illegal possession of cold steel. At the time, the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union called the prosecution of the activist politically motivated. on February 23, 2021, the Prymorskyi Court of Odesa found civic activist Serhii Sternenko guilty in another case of kidnapping. Sternenko denied any involvement in the kidnapping and insisted that the case was politically motivated. on February 23, protests in support of Sternenko began in Ukrainian cities. on April 9, the court changed his measure of restraint from detention to round-the-clock house arrest.
